PAGAN'S MIND To Co-Headline PROGPOWER EUROPE 2008
December 16, 2007Norwegian prog-metal masters PAGAN'S MIND have been confirmed as one of three headliners of the ProgPower Europe 2008 festival. The three-day event will celebrate its 10th anniversary with three bands on Friday, October 3 and six on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 at JC Sjiwa in Baarlo, The Netherlands.
According to the festival organizers, PAGAN'S MIND will play "a full show of almost two hours." Also scheduled to appear are SUSPYRE and DIVISION BY ZERO.
Tickets will go on sale on January 2.

PAGAN'S MIND's new album, "God's Equation", recently entered the Norwegian domestic chart (featuring only Norwegian artists) at position No. 14. It also landed on the international chart (featuring all artists) at No. 35.
PAGAN'S MIND's video for the song "Atomic Firelight" can be viewed below. The track comes off "God's Equation", which is due in the U.S. on January 15. The CD was recorded by Espen Mjøen at his Mediamaker Studio in Skien, Norway, and mixed at Toy Town Studios in Stockholm by Stefan Glaumann (RAMMSTEIN). The band's last CD, "Enigmatic: Calling", came out in 2005 via LMP/SPV.
PAGAN'S MIND recently completed a tour of the Netherlands and Germany as the support act for FATES WARNING. The band currently has another European tour in the works, scheduled for March, as part of a package with two more bands. More details will follow soon.
Former PAGAN'S MIND guitarist Thorstein Aaby, who played on the band's first two albums — "Infinity Divine" (2000) and "Celestial Entrance" (2002) — passed away on July 24 at the age of 36.
